The Cape Byron Aboriginal walk
Explore Byron Bay runs an easy one-and-a-half-hour walk that meets directly in front of The Pass Cafe, 1 Brooke Drive. Along the way an Aboriginal guide takes you to significant places and shares local history and traditional stories. There are chances to learn some Bundjalung language and about bush food, natural medicine, tools, weapons and artefacts.
Aboriginal guide fees and a bush tucker tasting are included. Parking at The Pass is not: it is paid by the hour and can be busy, so the listing asks you to allow time to find a space. No pets.

The sea kayak tour on GetYourGuide (opens in a new tab) lists local and Aboriginal history among the things the guides talk about. These are not cultural tours, but they add context.
Wollumbin (Mount Warning) is a declared Aboriginal place with deep cultural significance, and its summit track is closed. Read why.
